Here is my contest entry as part of the Miniature Food Jewelry Team on Etsy. The contest topic for July is "Fast Food."

I choose a Chicago Dog complete with cucumber, relish, onion, tomato, mustard, and even poppy seeds.

I just place my new Cream Puff pendant up on Etsy and I love this guy. It was a lot of fun experimenting with brown chalk dust and trying to brown the puff crust.

There is a new Cheese Sandwich in town

We have a new Cheese Sandwich and Olive Charm OOAK 18 inch Hemp Cord Necklace listed in the Etsy shop.

I enjoyed the challenges this pendant presented - especially olive. I worked from the inside out when I started with the pimento. I built the olive instages and fired each as I went (the first olive I left in too long). I drilled the poor thing out and used superglue to hold the tip of the wooden skeewer in place.

New Raisin Bread and Butter Pendant OOAK Pendant on 18" inch Hemp Cord Necklace

New on Etsy is our Raisin Bread and Butter necklace.

This was fun to make. I first had to roll itty-bitty raisins and bake them. These were inserted into the premade bread (Made a loaf of this stuff and just cut slices for different pendants).

Epicurean Designs has posted the first of our new food-themed necklaces in our new shop. I am so excited and I can't wait to post the rest shortly.

Very cool!!!! I love this photo.

This is a very fun piece hanging on 18 inches of hemp cord with wire clasps.

I am looking forward to posting some tutorials on polymer food creation over the next few weeks.

Why have you setup a new design studio?

Good question, Amelia.

Darke Curiosity Emporium is a great place for my more eccentric stuff. I love doing the assemblage and prop work, but I also like a bit of whimsy. I don't believe they combine all that well and Epicurean Designs was born!

I'll transition most of the other work off DCE shortly and set them up here. I already have a new Etsy shop setup for the switch.

I'll post more shortly.
